This show will be staged at the SCC Auto Tech Center. We will have live Dynometer demonstrations, food trucks and more.

Car Show Registration HereAbout the Auto Tech Program
The SCC Auto Tech Center includes a 30,000 sq. ft. facility with ten instruction bays, three alignment bays, two dyno bays, and a smog bay; dedicated rooms for engine and transmission dyno; two large classrooms; and tutoring space.
The College re-established its automotive technician program in spring 2013. Students have the option to earn an Associate of Science Degree, or Certificate in Powertrain, Electronics, Emissions, Undercar, and Hybrid and Alternative Fuels. The program started with funding from the California Energy Commission. SCC developed a state-of-the-art Alternative and Renewable Fuel and Vehicle Technology Program. The College developed curriculum, trained other faculty, and purchased hybrid, electric and clean diesel training vehicles and training equipment. This SCC program is a leader in hybrid/alternative fuels auto technician training.
Students have the options of earning an Automotive Technician Associate of Science Degree, or multiple Certificates of Achievement in the following areas:
• Automatic Transmissions and Transaxles
• Automotive Electrical and Body Systems
• Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair

Students are prepared to take the following ASE and State Smog Certification Examinations:
• A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, C1, & G1
• Smog Inspector License
• Smog Check Repair Technician License
