2024 Business Networking Series

In 2023, the SCC Educational Foundation hosted eight Chambers of Commerce at two huge business networking events, commonly referred to as a Joint Chamber Mixer. This year up to ten Chambers of Commerce will participate and total attendance of about 400. Our networking events feature great food from some of the best restaurants and catering companies in our area, micro brews on tap from local microbreweries, and varietal wines from Suisun Valley, Solano County, and Winters. But more importantly, they are fantastic networking opportunities and a cost effective marketing format for business seeking exposure throughout Solano County. Sponsors get the added benefits of exposure from flyers, banners, emails and social media posts. In addition, the SCC Educational Foundation is a non-profit, so sponsors get the satisfaction of helping us carry out our mission to support Solano Community College and the student most in need.

On Thursday, September 26, 2023 at 5:30 p.m., Travis Credit Union and an additional partner will host the Vallejo Chambers Alliance together with the Benicia Chamber. This was the annual mixer and this year the lineup will include the Vallejo Chamber, Solano Hispanic Chamber, the Fil-Am Chamber of Solano, plus the Benica Chamber this year. A big crowd of nearly 200 is expected as we return to the SCC Vallejo Auto Tech Center. The address is 1687 North Ascot Parkway, Vallejo, CA 94591.
On Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 5:30 p.m., AT&T and an additional partner will host the Fairfield-Suisun Chamber with additional Chambers to be invited. This is a new mixer to add more interest to the line up. We anticpate four chambers, another huge crowd of approximately 150 or more is expected. The location was the SCC Fairfield campu Library and Learning Resource Center at 4000 Suisun Valley Road in Fairfield.

Solano Business Connections: To help grow local businesses by encouraging B2B opportunities across city lines, the SCC Educational Foundation in partnership with the SBDC and First Northern Bank operated Solano Business Connections from 2013 to 2016. Check out the photos from the 2016 and 2015. Members of ten local Chambers of Commerce came together for the largest business event in Solano County.
