2023 Business Networking Series

In August 2023, the SCC Educational Foundation hosted four Chambers of Commerce at a huge business networking event, commonly referred to as a Joint Chamber Mixer. This year seven Chambers of Commerce will participate and total attendance of about 300. Our networking events feature great food from some of the best restaurants and catering companies in our area, micro brews on tap from local microbreweries, and varietal wines from Suisun Valley, Solano County, and Winters. But more importantly, they are fantastic networking opportunities and a cost effective marketing format for business seeking exposure throughout Solano County. Sponsors get the added benefits of exposure from flyers, banners, emails and social media posts. In addition, the SCC Educational Foundation is a non-profit, so sponsors get the satisfaction of helping us carry out our mission to support Solano Community College and the student most in need.

On Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 5:30 p.m., Kaiser Permanente will host the Vallejo Chambers Alliance. This was the annual mixer with four participating Chambers, the Vallejo Chamber, Solano County Black Chamber, Solano Hispanic Chamber, and the Fil-Am Chamber of Solano. A big crowd of nearly 200 is expected as we move to a new location at SCC Vallejo Auto Tech Center. The address is 1687 North Ascot Parkway, Vallejo, CA 94591.
On Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 5:30 p.m., Travis Credit Union and the Solano-Napa SBDC will host the Vacaville, Fairfield-Suisun, Dixon and Winters Chambers. With four chambers, another huge crowd of approximately 150 is expected. The location was the SCC Vacaville Center at 2001 North Village Parkway, Vacaville, CA 95688.

Solano Business Connections: To help grow local businesses by encouraging B2B opportunities across city lines, the SCC Educational Foundation in partnership with the SBDC and First Northern Bank operated Solano Business Connections from 2013 to 2016. Check out the photos from the 2016 and 2015. Members of ten local Chambers of Commerce came together for the largest business event in Solano County.
