On Tuesday, October 15th, the SCC Educational Foundation, SCC Scholarship Foundation, and the College Math and Science Department will present annual scholarship awards to Solano Community College students. In 2018, 182 scholarship were awarded in a total amount of $179,000.

Seven out of every ten students at Solano Community College receive some form of financial aid. But most need additional assistance for the things many of us take for granted, such as transportation, personal computers, and paper and ink for printing college assignments. Yet these students taking the initiative and working hard to improve their future and quality of life.

So please consider joining are efforts to support the students most in need. A scholarship donation in any amount is a meaningful way to give back to the next generation. Donors considering an investment have the option of adding to our general scholarship fund, adding to an existing scholarship, or creating a new scholarship with customized student selection criteria.
